Australian pet insurance, ranked.

Independent reviews of every major AU pet insurance brand, scored by the Insu Score and audited against the current Product Disclosure Statement.

No signup required to read. No affiliate-only filtering. The Insu Score is calculated identically for brands we have a commercial relationship with and brands we don't — see the methodology page for the formula.

Currently 16 of 19 verified AU pet insurance brands reviewed. The remaining 3 are in the queue — each takes 30-45 minutes to audit (PDS read, customer review aggregation, underwriter verification). New reviews land weekly. How the score is calculated →

Why partial scores?

You'll see "Insu Score (partial)" on most reviews until our premium estimator launches. The Affordability component (worth 30 of 100 points) requires per-insurer premium sampling at standardised benchmarks (3-year-old Labrador in Sydney 2000, plus regional and senior-pet variants). We're collecting that data now.

The other three components (Coverage 45%, Trust 15%, Customer Experience 10%) are scored from publicly available sources and live now. Once Affordability lands, the headline scores will rise into the 60-90 range for most brands.

General advice only. Insu publishes consumer information about Australian pet insurance, not personal financial advice.
